Oh! The Profanity!!!

"And he beheld Satan; and he had a great chain in his hand, and it veiled the whole face of the earth with darkness; and he looked up and laughed, and his angels rejoiced."  --Moses 7:26

It has been truly said that freedom is a system based upon courage.  Tonight we have been compelled to view the fruits of stomach-turning cowardice in its march to overthrow "the last, best hope" of freedom and liberty in the world!

The truth of Edmund Burke's observation that "There is no safety for honest men except by believing all possible evil of evil men," is likewise on display.  Recent weeks of underhanded thuggery have culminated in 219 individuals voting to condemn billions, now living and yet unborn in, a once free nation to abject slavery to an emerging statist regime.  But who can blame them?  At stake for each individual politician were the perks of power--the nicer offices at the Capitol Building, the cushy committee seats, the adulation of the statist media and, of course, the perpetual childish delusions of a would-be dictator!

So, the statists chose, on the Sabbath Day, to cast aside the honor, the sacrifice and the blood of our founders and those who have fought, bled and died for liberty in subsequent generations--valiant souls who pledged and all too often sacrificed their "lives, [their] fortunes and [their] sacred honor--and enacted institutional cowardice and national shame.  They have profaned this Sabbath day by advancing their abortion-on-demand agenda--an agenda that, ironically, will culminate in abortion at the demand of government bureaucrats--and the ascendancy of the State over God in America.

Moreover, that detestable smirking simp, Nancy Pelosi, profaned the names and memory of the Founders, claiming their "vision" was being realized by this despotic government seizure of 1/6 of the nation's economy!  We the people have received a stinging and derisive slap in the face by those who have transformed the title and the notion of "public servant" into a cynical cliche.  And this was done while, at once, the Constitution of the United States was willfully ignored and cast aside.

Yes, in a single day, we have seen the principles the institutions the ideals and the vision that Americans have held most dear for generations vilely profaned.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,... But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." (The Declaration of Independence) 

The arrogance at work is beyond comprehension.  This cannot and must not stand.  The people of this nation must awaken to a sense of their duty and renew their individual and collective commitment to liberty and the founding vision of this nation.  Everything that America was, is and will yet be now hangs in the balance.  We absolutely must unite to stop this advancing tyranny and beg for God's intervention in our behalf.  And, we must keep this day alive and burning in our hearts and minds in November and make Election Day a day of reckoning for the traitors and usurpers in DC!
